Printing

Getting the right look and feel.

Choosing the right inks and print process for different materials makes all the difference in the quality and style of your prints.

Types of Printing

  • Plastisol

This is the most common ink used for screen printing that can be applied on a wide variety of materials. It produces the most accurate and vibrant results, but sacrifices some softness due to the solid feel of the ink and print sitting slightly raised on the garment.

  • Water-based

If you're looking for less or no ink feel, water-based inks are the way to go; however, water-based inks typically should be printed on lighter colored shirts. Over time, it may appear faded since the ink sits down in the fabric unlike plastisol.
